A!R CANADA SUX HARD!
I left on Sunday and got to the airport early. The 11 am flight is delayed 4 hours. Fortunately, I had the new Harry Potter, so I was prepared & rolled with it. Then 2 hours later the flight is cancelled and they try to put me on some 8pm flight but I get squeezed on a 5pm. Oh, and they give me a whole $10 food voucher-OH THE POSSIBILITIES!
After my Wok N Roll lunch, i go back and read for another 2 hours the flight is pushed backfrom 5 to 6. Then to 7. Then at 5:45pm it's cancelled. Bastards! No biggie. The glass is half full, so I look at it as another night with my fam. I'm out on the 7am flight Monday morn & upon arriving in Montreal, my luggage is gone. dAMN!
I roll with it. I have 2 shows that night and Hit 'em Hard, although I'm wearing the same airport outfit from early in the day. Kudos to the JFL staff for staying on the airline and finding tracking my luggage. Tuesday morning the luggage is located...at LAGUARDIA AIRPORT-side note:#1)I don't check luggae normally, but figuring I'd be in another country for a week, of course I packed a little heavier-#2)I rarely, if ever, fly outta Laguardia because of constant flight delays.
Since my luggage is promised to me Tuesday eve, I wear the fest t-shirts from the fest bag and they give me like 3 extra. Tuesdays show goes well, but no luggage. At this point people must think "Geez, he really likes those khaki shorts!
By Wednesday, I had to go shopping. No Lug.
Thursday I finally got my stuff at 6pm. Uggh! I may as well have carried on for 3 days since that's all I had to worry about by the timem my bag got there. So what've we learned boys & girls?
AC airline stinks!
